      Gense - rustfrit stålbestik i topkvalitet

      Gense - historien om Gense tager sin begyndelse i , hvor Gustav Eriksson åbner sin virksomhed, der i de første år producerer kakkelovnslåger og kaffebrændere.

      I udvides produktionen med nikkelvarer og sølvvarer, bl.a. kafferservice og lysestager, og i tilføjes fabrikation af kuvertartikler og bestik i sølv. Kunderne bestod især af restauranter.

      I begyndelsen af ´erne begynder Gense at fremstille det, de ikke mindst er kendt for i dag, nemlig rustfrit stålbestik. Det betyder en afgørende fremgang for Gense. Salget flyver af sted, og der bliver behov for at opføre et fabriksanlæg i Eskilstuna. Samtidig indleder man et tæt samarbejde med anerkendte svenske designere.
